Interview with award-winning composer/producer Mike Raznick

Mike Raznick (http://www.mikeraznick.com) is an award-winning composer/producer who's work has been featured in video games, feature length films, short films and Hollywood theatrical trailers. His partial client list includes companies such as Disney, Zynga, Ubisoft, HBO, MTV, CBS, ... to name but a few.

Mike recently purchased our new granular audio effect plugin SaltyGrain, and we took the opportunity to ask him a few questions.

Our music following technology in action

These past weeks, SampleSumo's music following technology has been used in two public events featuring Kimiko Ishizaka's performance of J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations: one in a live concert setting, and the other in a radio broadcast setting.

Sound recognition at GDC 2012 in San Francisco

This week, we are in San Francisco for the Game Development Conference 2012, where we are showcasing our Percussive Sound Recognition technology (we're at booth #48 at GDC Play).

SampleSumo at Creativity World Forum 2011

Some time ago, we received an invitation from Innovatiecentrum Oost-Vlaanderen to present our company at their booth at the Creativity World Forum 2011 in Hasselt. We said yes, and also asked the people of MuseScore if they would like to join us. The result: a live demo of a score following application, showing the strengths of two Flemish music technology companies.

Little piggy's return: GRoink

The little iPhone app for kids we had released some months ago, together with our partners Publigence and BigBoom, is now back under a new name!
It has become a free app, with the possibility to get extra animal images and sounds through an in-app purchase, and it was adapted for iPad too.
