Location
Our offices are located in Ghent (Belgium), just north of the city centre and near to the port of Ghent, in the Eskimofabriek, a renovated 19th century textile factory, now being used for cultural events and office space.
How to get here?
Since there is no airport in Ghent, international visitors coming by airplane will need to take a flight to Brussels/Zaventem (the main international airport in Belgium) or to a smaller airport (like Charleroi, also referred to as "Brussels-South") and then take a train to Ghent (around 1 hour).
If you're making use of public transportation, you can take a train to the main railway station in Ghent ("Gent, Sint-Pieters") and then use a bus or tram to get to our offices. In particular, take tram nr. 4 direction "Gentbrugge Moscou" until the stop "Neuseplein". Our offices are a very short walk away.
When coming by car, the first thing to know is that Ghent is located just north-west of the crossing of highways E40 (Brussel - Oostende) and E17 (Kortrijk - Antwerpen).
- If you're coming from Kortrijk or Antwerpen (E17), take the exit "Gent-Centrum" and merge onto the B401. Then take exit 1 towards Keizervest/R40 ("andere richtingen"). When you have arrived across the water, turn right and merge onto the R40. Keep following this road (R40): it will make a big turn left in front of a railway bridge, then pass onto a roundabout (Dampoort) which you will just leave on the opposite side, and then make another big turn left. Then after about 400 meters, you will arrive at some traffic lights with water and a bridge at your right (Neuseplein). Just before the traffic lights, turn right (direction Haven/Wondelgem), cross the bridge and continue straight ahead. You are now in the Wiedauwkaai. Our offices are at your left after another 400 meters (you'll know when you're there when you see the Eskimo).
- If you're coming from Brussel (E40), change to the E17 (direction Antwerpen) in Zwijnaarde and then follow the same instructions as for Kortrijk or Antwerpen mentioned above.
- If you're coming from Oostende (E40), it's best to take the exit 13 (Drongen) and turn left onto the N466 direction "Gent-West". Follow this road for 6 km and then turn right onto the R40 (Rooigemlaan) at the traffic lights. At the next traffic lights turn left onto the N430 (Nieuwewandeling) and keep following this road for 2.5 km until you arrive at the traffic lights at the Neuseplein. Turn left, cross the bridge and continue straight ahead in the direction of Haven/Wondelgem. You are now in the Wiedauwkaai. Our offices are at your left after about 400 meters (you'll know when you're there when you see the Eskimo).
