An engineer in computer sciences by education, Koen first experienced the energy and creative drive of a (then) startup while working for Enfocus (now an EskoArtwork company).

Koen followed the management programmes "Technology Transfer" and "Innovation Management for SMEs" at Vlerick Leuven-Ghent Management School and is a member of the VOKA networking organization BRYO.
